Automechanika Shanghai 2019 was held December 1 though 6 at the National Exhibition & Conventional Center in Shanghai. It is the country’s largest city (population about 25 million) and its global financial hub!
Its purpose was to elevate the rising trends and speedy automotive advancements around the world in many different markets. To that end and a first for Automechanika Shanghai, they teamed up with the Intelligent Connected Vehicle Innovation Center (ICVIC), FCPAE Microelectronics Professional Forum, Shanghai Promotion of Science and Technology Achievement Association (SPAT) and Tongi University Science Park. Together they organized the ‘Tomorrow’s Service & Mobility Innovation Technology Conference’ outlining the approaching development of new energy vehicles plus service solutions and technological expectations.
So many other features made up the program at this 2019 event: Connected Mobility Conference; Smart Bus Innovation & Development; the SAE Vehicle Electrification & Autonomous Vehicle Technology Conference; International Automotive Technology Congress and Tomorrow’s Service & Mobility sector.
One of the flagship events was the Automotive Aftermarket Summit which was co-organized with the United States’ Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Assoc. This event identified the sweeping transformations in China’s supply chain and service sector plus tactical plans for insurance.
Thousands of show attendees visited the various sectors of Automechanika Shanghai over the six-day event along with over 6,000 exhibitors from 43 countries and regions.
