During AAPEX, many people listened as Delphi Technologies announced they would become a full-line chassis supplier and accelerate their engine management product line expansion as well. Becoming a full-line chassis supplier should happen by the first quarter of 2020.

Chad Smith, VP Aftermarket, North America explained that they are providing customers much faster new growth opportunities with their fast-tracking new-to-range process. He also said, “By expanding our sales coverage in two key product categories for vehicle repairs, we’re demonstrating our investment to growing our customers’ businesses.”

The Chassis Line has more than doubled in size with 8,000+ part numbers. Sales coverage will increase to 97% covering 26 major automotive brands (import and domestic), including late model applications through 2019. The chassis program includes control arms, tie rods, inner & outer tie rod ends, sway bar links, ball joints, bushings, drag links, idler arms, pitman arms, trailing arms and more!

In the Engine Management department, Delphi added more than 250 parts numbers and this expansion certainly supplements their line of ignition coils and MAF sensors.
