Tenneco has announced the expansion of Monroe’s ride control products to provide coverage for over 370,000 registered passenger vehicles throughout the U.S. and Canada.

The coverage includes an expanded range of Ford, Lincoln, Nissan and Subaru models. The new releases by the company are 10 new Quick-Strut assemblies, one new OESpectrum shock absorber and a Monroe suspension conversion kit.

Among the latest Monroe parts released are Quick-Strut assemblies for 2013 Ford Focus (front), 2013 Nissan Sentra (front) and 2002-2003 Subaru Impreza (rear) model; and an OESpectrum rear shock for 2011-2017 Nissan Leaf models.

According to Tenneco, technicians can complete a high-quality strut replacement with Monroe Quick-Strut assemblies which contain the requisite precisely engineered components. The high-quality components include a premium Monroe strut technology tuned and tested for original-equipment (OE) style ride and handling; vehicle-specific coil spring technology featuring U.S.-grade steel and corresponding OE-equivalent spring design and premium, OE-style upper strut mount and bearing plate, among others.

Equipped with the company’s latest global OE valving technologies, the Monroe OESpectrum shocks are additionally engineered with the appropriate technology specific to each application for extra control and decreased ride harshness.

Technicians will be able to convert the rear air suspensions on 1997-2002 Lincoln Continental models to mechanical coil spring suspensions with the help of the newly launched Monroe conversion kit. The kit comes with the necessary parts and hardware as well as comprehensive instructions for a trouble-free installation and better fit.

“Monroe offers leading-edge technologies combined with outstanding coverage of domestic and import vehicles,” says Joe Robinson, Director, Ride Control Product Management. “Our aggressive investment in new-product coverage underscores our commitment to the success of the thousands of front-line professionals who specify and install Monroe on a daily basis.”

The brand’s limited lifetime warranty and “Feel the Difference” Guarantee money-back consumer offer provide coverage for all the ride control products such as Quick-Strut assemblies and OESpectrum shocks and struts, among others.
