Raybestos recently announced that it has added virtual product kits to its online catalogue.
This move by the company is to provide distributors with the flexibility to go into the market to their service provider customers with a pad and rotor kit for popular applications. Although the distributors will have to still purchase the particular brake pad and rotor part numbers as they currently do, they now have the chance to utilize this updated cataloguing feature.
“With the new virtual kits, distributors are able to efficiently look up Raybestos parts and quickly offer the best pad and rotor combination for the particular vehicle,” says Kristin Grons, Marketing Manager, Brake Parts. “The virtual kits give distributors the flexibility to sell parts at different bundle prices and are available for a variety of vehicle applications, from import to domestic and passenger cars to light trucks, including popular applications with a large number of vehicles in operation. Going forward, Raybestos intends to continue to expand the virtual kits on a quarterly basis.”
Raybestos has catalogued the virtual kits in both the Element3 and R-Line families. According to the company, its Element3 virtual kits are designed to facilitate everyday drivers who look for exceptional performance with enhanced product features. The kits include Element3 brake pads with improved friction formulations paired with an Element3 coated rotor.
The R-Line kits have been developed for daily drivers who seek dependable performance. The kits contain traditional semi-metallic or ceramic formulations paired with an R-Line professional grade rotor that matches OE vane configuration, weight and design.
