Autosphere » Mechanical » AIA Presents Vehicle Programming Today—Ontario

For service technicians and shop owners, this class is designed for and brought to you by the AIA’s Automotive Service Associate Program (ASAP).

Most of the class will be on technology and the impact EVs and PHEVs will mean to your repair business. Basic safety training will be covered as well.

As a technician with advanced electrical knowledge, you’ll be able to start the learning process with confidence after you’ve taken this class.

The event takes place Wednesday April 10; the cost is $229 per person plus taxes, or if you’re an Automotive Service Associate Program participant, the cost is $209 plus taxes. It is being held at the Electric Vehicle Centre, 1126 Finch Ave., Unit 1, North York, Ont.

The class leader is Craig Van Batenburg, CEO, Automotive Career Development Centre and a former shop owner. He’s involved full time in the understanding of the technology used in hybrid and electric cars, driving them as well.

With more experience than most, Craig can help you understand not only how, but why these new electrified cars operate the way they do.
