Uni-Select Ontario had a wonderful Information Session and Awards Presentation at the Pearson Convention Centre, Brampton, Ontario on April 17!
The popular Norm Rose of Excel Sales Consulting was first on the agenda and had a very captive audience. He gave a lot of ideas about ‘Winning Strategies to Increase Sales & Customers’ Loyalty’. I noticed many heads nodding in compete agreement!
John Cochrane spoke on behalf of Lindertech and the ‘Future of the Repair Industry’. He told about key performance indicators and new technology that will impact the ASP. Jayme Schulner told all present why they should be using social media as a marketing tool.
Adam Malone of Uni-Select spoke about ‘Private Brands—Features & Benefits’ and Uni-Select’s Daniel Malone communicated what ‘Connectivity’ is all about. Linda Donnini of Uni-Select updated everyone on the ‘Banners’.
The Dinner and Awards Night came next to help Uni-Select celebrate their 50 years in business. Kam Sukhram had arranged for a very special band to play—The Uni-Select Project Band. They brought their own ‘celebrity’ vocalist with them—yes, Elvis was in the building!
The dinner was excellent and everyone seemed to enjoy the repast. Next came the Awards—the Milestone Awards; Outstanding Sales Growth; the Top Supplier for 2017; the Special Category and Tools and Equipment. It was quite a lineup and many Jobbers and Suppliers took home trophies from the evening.
All in all, a great 50th Anniversary event! Congratulations to all!
