On March 29, at the Paramount Event Venue in Vaughan, Ont., AIA Canada’s Ontario Knowledge Exchange Event played to a full house!
Approximately 130 attendees heard a great lineup of speakers but also had their say during the day. Many of them were automotive service providers.
France Daviault, Senior Director, Stakeholder Relations, AIA Canada, showed the audience where AIA was headed with their requests and observations in mind. James Carter challenged attendees to explore issues and coming changes and then ask themselves “Am I going to be a ‘Kodak’ or a success!”
Rick Nadeau, President of Quorus Consulting Group, went through data mined about Consumer Attitudes on Repair and Maintenance and came up with some solutions for service providers when dealing with consumers.
Andrew Shepherd, Senior Director, Industry Programs, AIA Canada, followed with ‘his’ take on AIA’s “The View From Here” study and got some great challenges from the audience—exactly what he was looking for!
The Automotive Service Provider panel discussion focused on “What’s Keeping You Awake at Night?” The assembled panellists shared their own “nightmares” and asked the attendees about theirs.
Overall, it was a great event with tremendous interaction and good camaraderie.
