The New 2020 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel is Canada’s half-ton diesel torque leader.
The 2020 Ram 1500 is the highest half-ton diesel pickup with up to 480 lb ft of torque for light-duty trucks at 1,600 rpm and 1,000 lb ft for heavy-duty trucks, 12,560 lb of towing capability and a 2,300 lb of payload, and an all-new third-generation 3.0-litre EcoDiesel V6 that leads the segment on fuel economy, minimal noise levels, vibrations, and harshness (NVH).

Several changes contribute to the EcoDiesel’s improved dynamic and fuel economy performance, including a new-generation water-cooler turbocharger with variable geometry turbine (VGT), an updated exhaust gas recirculation system (EGR), and a dual vacuum pump system, among others.
Class-exclusive air suspension further enhances fuel economy, improves ride control and off-road capability along with entry, exit, and loading, and features automatic load levelling.
Standard features are expanded interior storage capacity, a 12-inch touchscreen with split-screen capability, 360-degree camera views and exclusive content from SiriusXM with 360L. Safety systems are comprised of Forward Collision Warning, Blind-spot Monitoring, and Ready Alert Braking.
The 2020 Ram 15000 EcoDiesel is available in all models and configurations include a first-time offering in the Ram Rebel. The truck will go on sale in the fourth quarter of 2019 and pricing and fuel economy ratings will be announced closer to the truck’s on-sale date.
The model is backed by either a: a five-year, 100,000 km Powertrain Limited Warranty that covers the costs of parts and labour needed to repair a powertrain component, like the engine, transmission, and drive system; or a standard three-year, 60,000 km Basic Limited Warranty, which provides a bumper-to-bumper coverage from the body to the electrical system.
The 2020 Ram 1500 EcoDiesel is built at the Sterling Heights Assembly Plant (SHAP) in Sterling Heights, Michigan, and the 3.0-litre EcoDiesel V6 is produced at the FCA Cento facility in Ferrara, Italy.
