Autosphere » Fleet » Quebec Unveils Hydrogen Fuelling Station

Québec City’s first hydrogen refuelling station was unveiled by the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources, Pierre Moreau, and the Mayor of Québec City, Régis Labeaume.

Quebec’s first public hydrogen fuelling station, which will be located in Québec City, will be equipped with an electrolyzer allowing on-site production of hydrogen by electrolysis of water.

The pilot project will allow the Government of Québec to start using its first fleet of 50 Toyota Mirai Fuel Cell Electric Vehicles on the roads of the province. The station, which will produce up to 200 kg of hydrogen per day, will serve as a working business model for the development of future stations in Québec and across the country.
