General Motors expands Take 2 Program.

General Motors is introducing its career re-entry program, Take 2, in Canada. The program, which began in Michigan in 2016, provides training, professional development and networking opportunities for experienced professionals returning to the workforce after taking a break from their career for two or more years.

The Take 2 program offers candidates paid 12-week positions. Upon successful completion candidates will receive full-time permanent offers of employment.

“We are in the midst of hiring up to 700 engineers to support the expansion of our engineering and software work in Canada and the Take 2 program is a great way to reach out to experienced talent that can help us develop the future of personal mobility in Canada,” said Adam Kooy, Take 2 program manager for Canada. “The Take 2 program will provide candidates with the skills and tools to ensure their success with the help of managers and mentors.”
