Fleet professionals from all over the globe gather in Tampa, Florida for the 2017 Institute & Expo (I&E).

While most fleet professionals consider Tuesday to be the beginning of the annual I&E, many begin their professional development week on Monday with CAFM/CAFS exams, the Sustainable Fleet pre-conference, Law Enforcement Group product presentations, and the International Fleet Academy (IFA).

This year, the IFA welcomed fleet professionals from all over the world with presentations that covered a broad range of topics. The day began with an in-depth look at how culture affects the fleet business, and how fleet managers need to understand the way people think in a certain  country before they can begin to making decisions and manage expectations.

The IFA included an in-depth look at Russia, Poland, Italy, France, Germany, China, the Netherlands, and beyond. If you manage fleets beyond North American borders, the annual IFA is a must.
