COVID-19 is giving dealers a break on fees.

Dealers who use autoTRADER.ca or Kjiji Autos can look forward to saving money when using either platform in the coming months.

autoTRADER.ca is cutting costs in half from April through May 2020 in effort to assist dealers amidst COVID-19, while Kijiji Autos has announced plans to waive 100% of Listing and Feature subscription fees in April, as well as extending payment terms to 90 days for all services in March.

“In the past couple of weeks, we have had important conversations with our dealer partners, and it’s no secret these are challenging times for all of us,” says David McMinn, Chief Operating Officer, TRADER Corporation. “In moments like these, we believe it’s crucial to be able to work together and be flexible, so we all get through this situation as best we can.”

Leanne Kripp, Head of Autos, Kijiji said, “We all have a role to play in helping the community as the COVID-19 situation evolves. We are focused on how Kijiji Autos, as a team and a platform, can operate in the best interest of our customers in this time of uncertainty.

“We recognize the pressures that our customers are facing, and we want to be true partners for our dealers. Through providing financial relief on a large scale while maintaining inventory on the site, we hope to support dealers and help set up the automotive industry for future success.”
