Black Book Team dons hard hats to help Habitat for Humanity.
Eight executives from Canadian Black Book’s head office in Toronto spent Wednesday on a construction site, lending a hand to Habitat for Humanity. The Black Book team helped build homes for those in need, in nearby Mississauga, Ontario.
“The Canadian Black Book team is a family,” said Brad Rome, President, Canadian Black Book. “That is a major reason why we collectively feel strongly about the importance of giving back and helping families that need it.”
Rome and his colleagues left the comfort of their offices, lattes and loafers, to don a pair of work boots, a tool belt and a hard hand. “It was hard work, that was a tough day, and I sure learned a lot,” said Richard Phillips, VP Business Development & Marketing, Canadian Black Book. “But the satisfaction of knowing the end game really provides the encouragement. I think we all enjoyed ourselves and feel good about the contribution.”
