New VP Sales and Marketing was part of the founding Mitsubishi Motors Canadian team.

Mitsubishi Motor Sales of Canada (MMSCAN) recently announced the appointment of Paul Simmonds as the new Vice President, Sales and Marketing, effective immediately. Simmonds will report directly to Juyu Jeon, President & CEO, MMSCAN, and will be responsible for Operations, Sales, Marketing and Distribution and Fleet for the company.

“As we push forward laser-focused on growth for the company, the passion and leadership that Paul has demonstrated time and again will be integral to Mitsubishi Motors in Canada,” said Jeon, “I look forward to working with Paul closely as we evolve the business and what we offer to Canadians.”

Simmonds has 40 years of progressive experience in the automotive industry and was part of the original executive team to launch Mitsubishi in Canada 17 years ago. Prior to his new position, Simmonds was the Vice President of Aftersales and Information Systems, where he established the industry-leading tablet-based fully integrated digital sales and service process, as well as the first email and text-based customer satisfaction survey.
