National partnership supports Canadian families with children undergoing organ transplants.
The Honda Canada Foundation has partnered with the David Foster Foundation, helping to support Canadian families with children undergoing pediatric organ transplants.
The three-year, $150,000 partnership will provide support for families who require financial assistance to cover their non-medical expenses during the transplant journey. Financial support of non-medical expenses ranges from mortgage, rent, and car payments to airline tickets, groceries, parking, and gas.
“Supporting Canadian families in times of need is one of the four key pillars of the Honda Canada Foundation mandate and we’re proud to support the David Foster Foundation, as they provide guidance, comfort and much-needed financial support for transplant families across the country,” said Dave Jamieson, Chair of the Honda Canada Foundation.
