In celebration of their 100th anniversary, Japanese automaker Mitsubishi solicited the help of four inspiring centenarians.
The Mitsubishi marketing campaign includes the achievements of Japan’s first female photojournalist, a renowned artist, and a Kendo Master, all over the age of 100. Masters of their craft, they generously share their passion and desire to always learn more.
“We also wanted to celebrate Kaizen, the Japanese philosophy of constant improvement, which has been at the heart of our company for 100 years,” explained Mitsubishi Motors Sales of Canada Director of Marketing, Peter Renz. “Our Century in the Making marketing campaign is a reflection of this philosophy as seen through the eyes of four Japanese centenarians, who have lived according to this philosophy over the last century.” He points out that this is a nice parallel with the philosophy used by Mitsubishi when building cars.
A four-minute film titled A Century in the Making will be divided into several videos and available via social media, the Web as well as TV.
