Alexander Selipanov has signed on as the brand’s new Chief Designer.

 Genesis, the new luxury automotive brand, announced that Alexander Selipanov will join the brand as Chief Designer at the Global Genesis Advanced Studio, located in Europe.

Selipanov joins Genesis with a colourful resume that includes exterior design projects for the Volkswagen Design Center in Potsdam, Germany, and the Lamborghini exterior design team in Sant’Agata, Italy, for the Huracan.

In 2014, he was appointed as Head of Exterior Design, Creative at Bugatti Automobiles, and during the past two and half years, he was responsible for the exterior design of the Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo show car and the Bugatti Chiron

“I am sincerely excited about this opportunity, because it will be a new chapter in my career,” Selipanov says. “As I have been working with well-established brands so far, Genesis is a new and refreshing challenge to me.”
