Genesis Redefines Auto Retailing

Genesis Motors Canada is bringing the G90 and G80 luxury sedans to market with a completely revised approach to the pricing structure.

When the G90 and G80 sedans go on sale, they’ll be offered with a new pricing philosophy. The “all inclusive” prices ($84,000 for the G90 and $54,000 for the G80), include delivery and destination charges, scheduled maintenance (5 years/100,000 km), Genesis at Home service (5 years/100,000 km), satellite radio subscription (5 years/100,000km), and navigation map updates (5 years – up to 10 updates).

The pricing structure will also eliminate the need for haggling over price, says the comapny.

Genesis owners will be able to take advantage of the “Genesis at Home” concierge service, which means they will be able to opt to have their vehicle picked up for service,  replaced with a courtesy car, and then returned after the service is completed.

Genesis hopes to transform the automotive purchase and ownership experience in Canada by pioneering a new approach that involves online sales and transactions that take place at the customer’s convenience.

Customers will be able to shop for a vehicle, get a final quote, complete finance or lease paperwork, put a deposit, and order the vehicle from the company’s centralized inventory.

They will also be able to request a Genesis representative and vehicle come to them for a test drive and conclude their purchase contract in the comfort of their home or office.

The G90 and G80 go on sale November 21, 2016, initially through Genesis at Home concierge service. Starting in the spring of 2017, Genesis vehicles will also be on display in boutique retail locations in major malls and high-traffic shopping areas.

A network of stand-alone Genesis Distributors will also be built to sell and service Genesis vehicles on behalf of Genesis Motors Canada.
