Paul Randles, General Manager of Fix Auto Atlantic Canada, has announced the latest facility to join the Fix Auto Canada network in Charlottetown, P.E.I.

Fix Auto Charlottetown, formerly known as City Collision Services, is owned and operated by Paul Gaudet.  When the time came to make a decision about joining the Fix Auto family, it was clear that the long-established business wanted to create ties with a brand that met their original vision to provide the absolute best service to the customer.

“Fix Auto is recognized as a global company with a high set of standards for vehicle repairs, operations, and marketing. The brand looks to deliver consistency from shop to shop,” said Gaudet. “Our facility has always strived to provide the best customer experience with a very high standard of repair and ethics. This has contributed to our growth and becoming a partner with Fix Auto aligns with our high standards which I believe will propel our growth even further.”

Gaudet and his family have served their community’s collision repair needs for almost 45 years.  He entered the auto body business after graduating from high school, joining his father and two brothers in June 1973.  He purchased the shop from his father in 1988 and grew the business, with the dedication and commitment to excellence under which his family had always operated. Gaudet says his drive and sense of accomplishment come from seeing cars coming in completely wrecked and leaving fully restored.

Randles recognizes the important role that passion and the promise of superior customer care have played in allowing Gaudet and his family to build their name and reputation over the years. In addition to customer satisfaction, Fix Auto Charlottetown is recognized as a forward-thinking shop that understands the value of innovation.

“The business has stayed current with equipment, training and technology,” said Randles. “We are confident that Fix Auto Charlottetown will be a leader for innovation here on the east coast.  Paul is determined to stay current with the industry. His speed at adopting the Fix Auto brand at shop level and communicating his new name within his community has been exceptional. We share the same values and beliefs, and I am excited for the work we will do together.”

For his part, Gaudet confirms that he plans on growing his business under the Fix Auto umbrella with the same commitment he’s had for over four decades. “The Fix Auto banner emphasizes a high regard for ethics, repair and marketing. This makes it a great fit and partner for our company. We have constantly invested in new equipment as well as operating and repair procedures to restore today’s vehicles to tomorrow standards. When it comes to the collision repair industry, we always aim to be ahead of the curve.”
