The Tenacity series is the next instalment of high-performance tires from ITP.

ITP, owned by The Carlstar Group, has announced the launch of the 10 ply radial Tenacity XSR (Xtreme Steel Radial) and Tenacity XNR (Xtreme Nylon Radial) tires.

“The new Tenacity line features high-quality construction techniques that translate into the higher performance expectations of today’s Super Sport SxS enthusiasts,” said Rhett Turpin, Director of Sales – Powersports for The Carlstar Group.

While the XSR and XNR have similar features, they were designed for different applications.

The Tenacity XSR is ITP’s first steel belted radial. It features reinforced steel belts for improved puncture resistance, and a more rigid body ply construction method for better steering response.

The Tenacity XNR has a carcass that was built with Nylon body plies and features nylon belts. It was engineered for trail riding over rocks and ruts at lower speeds.
