During our visit to the WEGMANN automotive booth, Plombco representative Émilie St-Onge briefed us regarding the company’s latest product development initiatives.

WEGMANN automotive recently acquired Plombco, the Quebec-based company responsible for the distribution, among other products, of Plasteel brand wheel weights. The WEGMANN automotive line of tire products now includes a complete line of innovative products with a proven track record.

As legislation prohibiting the use of lead-based wheel weights is spreading across North America, the market for these plastic-coated steel wheel weights continues to grow.

According to Émilie St-Onge, Plombco is redesigning their products to improve their performance. The complete line of Plasteel wheel weights will gradually be launched across the market before year’s end.

The spray-on and wheel wipe line of cleaners marketed by Plombco are also listed in the WEGMANN automotive catalogue.
