Acquisition of Ontario company marks the entrance into a new market.

Distribution Stox, based in Boucherville, Quebec, has announced the acquisition of Provincial Tire Distributors, an Ontario-based company.

Provincial Tire Distributors was founded in 1988. “Starting today,” Stox explained in a news release, “we are joining our forces to pursue the development of our respective markets.”

With the new acquisition, Stox is putting in place a transition plan, as well as putting in place plans to add new product lines and new management tools, while building on the expertise of both companies.

“Our main objective is to maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction with operational effectiveness and best business practices with the cooperation of a dedicated team of over 300 employees in 17 cities,” Stox concluded in their news release.
