Continental Commercial Vehicles & Aftermarket has announced the launch of its new warranty registration website for VDO TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) sensors, including its VDO REDI-Sensor Multi-Application TPMS Sensors
Tire and auto service shop technicians will now be able to register all VDO TPMS Sensors that they fit onto customers’ vehicles through this website.
To access the warranty information of any VDO TPMS sensor they have installed, the shops are required to create an account on the new website. With the available information, technicians will not only be able to notify customers regarding the status of their warranty but also fill in a warranty claim if required. Information such as the customer’s name and address; the year, make and model of the vehicle; and the sensor date of installation, serial number, part number, and replaced part manufacturer, will all be present on the website.
“We created the VDO REDI-Sensor warranty website to give technicians a faster and easier way to register their customer’s warranties,” says Lindsay Smith, Continental TPMS Product Manager. “Utilizing the VDO REDI-Sensor Warranty site, technicians can quickly check the warranty status of each of their customers TPMS sensors and can easily register any new TPMS sensors they install.”
Continental has also provided a collection of TPMS installation instruction sheets for popular vehicle makes that can be downloaded, for the benefit of the tire and auto service technicians. In case of any queries regarding any product or application, technicians can also leave in comments on the website.
