Bridgestone Americas has announced that two of its tire lines have been selected as original equipment to be fitted on the fourth-generation BMW X5, as well as, the new BMW X7 luxury sports vehicles.
Extending its relationship with BMW further, the tire manufacturer will supply an assortment of tires from its Bridgestone Alenza and Bridgestone Blizzak tire lines in 15 different sizes and patterns.

Different sizes of Bridgestone’s Alenza 001 and Alenza Sport A/S tires will be fitted on both BMW models. According to the company, its Alenza 001 tire is designed to provide a luxury driving experience coupled with precise wet and dry condition performance. The Alenza Sport A/S offers driving comfort and is well-suited for all-season conditions. Bridgestone is also offering its run-flat technology on certain sizes of both tires.
Bridgestone’s Blizzak LM001 is the chosen winter tire to be fitted on both BMW models to tackle winter conditions. For the BMW X5, the tire is being offered in 18″, 19″, and 20″ rim diameter sizes, while the BMW X7 will be fitted with 20″ and 21″ sizes. Bridgestone is offering its run-flat technology in the 19″, 20″, and 21″ tire sizes. The company says that its Blizzak winter tires are designed for improved grip in ice, slush and severe snow conditions.
