Nitto Tire U.S.A. has announced the launch of its new luxury truck and SUV all-season tire—the NT420V.

Nitto has included an LT metric-sized tire with an F load range rating in an all-season pattern for the first time to ensure that one-ton truck owners have an option for a proper load-rated application.

Sporting an all-new tread pattern, the enhanced design of the new tire still contains the qualities of its predecessor. The Nitto NT420V has been created with the company’s tire tread pattern computer simulation technology.

Noise reduction in the tire is achieved through its revised tread block pattern. Its asymmetrical arrangement allows for two distinct performance zones across the tire’s tread. Rigid tread blocks on the outer tread aids in cornering and dry handling performance whereas higher void ratio and wide circumferential grooves on the inner tread helps with wet-weather performance.

According to the company, the new tire’s computer-designed tread pattern makes for a striking aesthetic profile and also includes unique touches such as bold tread surface serrations. The company has extended the visually distinct touches to the tire’s sidewall. It contains a diamond pattern to draw attention to factory or aftermarket wheels.

Nitto is offering its NT420V in 32 different sizes. The sizes cover a wide range of 1/2-ton, 3/4-ton and one-ton trucks; full-size SUVs; and crossover vehicles and are available in rim diameters ranging from 20 inches to 24 inches. The tire can currently be purchased at Nitto Authorized Dealers.
