John Bean, a Snap-on brand, has announced the release of its new T2545T Swing Arm Tire Changer.

According to the company, the tire changer is engineered for handling passenger cars, light trucks and high-performance wheel and tire assemblies, sports a compact design and is easy to set up.

“The ergonomic design and safety-enhancing features of the new John Bean T2545T tire changer provide the user a safe workspace when changing a variety of tires,” says Adam Brown, Director of Product Management for John Bean. “The T2545T is easy to set up, simple to use and offers a large range of capacity. Its compact design gives it a small footprint, even with larger tire sizes.”

John Bean has equipped the T2545T tire changer with a locking mount/demount head offset. This feature has been added to decrease the risk of damaging wheel and tire assemblies, since it provides increased cosmetic safety for expensive wheels. For precise clamping, the equipment does not only feature a robust design but also has also precision-cast and machined shoes with robust cast jaws. According to the company, the tire changer’s heavy-duty pneumatic valves are simple to operate and provide intuitive functionality. To aid in mounting stiff, difficult tires, the machine contains a powerful electric motor that generates 885 ft-lb of torque to the turntable. The new John Bean T2545T also features a newly designed ergonomic bead breaker control.
