Yokohama Tire Corporation reported that it has been honoured by Subaru with a supplier’s award in the Excellent Performance category.

According to the company, it has received the award for supplying its AVID S34P (P225/40R18 88V) tires on the Impreza.

“We have a very long and successful history being a Subaru supplier,” said Andrew Zeisser, Yokohama’s Vice President of OEM sales. “We’re extremely proud they have bestowed this honour upon Yokohama.”

As per Subaru, the Excellent Performance award is presented to a company for achievement of the auto manufacturer’s targets for “safety, quality, cost and delivery”.

Yokohama’s AVID S34P is an all-season passenger car tire designed to provide providing superior drivability and safety while delivering higher fuel efficiency. Yokohama has utilized the basic design and materials technology from its BluEarth global tire brand to develop this tire.
