Hankook Tire recently announced that the company has been recognized by Honda Motor Company with Supplier of the Year awards in two categories.

The automaker presented the awards at its 35th annual Honda Supplier Conference that was held in Columbus, Ohio. Hankook has been honoured for its excellence in Delivery, Quality and Value.  The company was one among four suppliers to be recognized in these categories.

The tire manufacturer has been the recipient of the Supplier Value category award four times since 2013. Additionally, it has been nominated twice in the newly merged Delivery and Quality category by Honda.

In this year’s awards ceremony, Honda awarded 85 North American suppliers that consistently exceeded expectations, created outstanding value and brought new innovations to the company in 2018.

Supplying tires to the automaker’s 16 North American plants that produce its automobiles and light trucks, Hankook features in the list of Honda’s top U.S. suppliers.
