Nitto Tire recently announced the launch of the Nitto Trail Grappler SXS, its first tire for side-by-side vehicles.

The company is launching the Trail Grappler SXS in the popular 30×9.5R15 and 32×9.5R15 sizes at present in June this year. In a release by the company, Nitto says that with the new tire, the company is able to bring Nitto performance to the powersports market.

The tire shares its technology and design details with Nitto’s Trail Grappler light truck tires. The company has used its proprietary technologies from the Trail Grappler light truck tires in the new Trail Grappler SXS. A part of these innovations, the tire features a reinforced shoulder groove to deliver improved off-road handling performance without compromising on tread block stiffness. For optimized mud and dirt evacuation from the tread, the tire is equipped with computer-designed tread blocks.

Nitto first showcased its Trail Grappler SXS at the 2018 SEMA Show. The tire bagged three of the top 10 finishes when put through its paces at the Can-Am UTV King of the Hammers Presented by HCR race this year. Team Nitto drivers were able to demonstrate the capabilities of the new tire as well as its off-road reliability when traversing the most adverse conditions through both high-speed desert running and technical rock crawling.
