Hankook Tire recently announced that it will be supplying its original equipment tires to the all-new 2020 Toyota Corolla.
Hankook’s Kinergy GT, a grand touring all-season tire designed for all roads, will be fitted to the new Corolla from April next year. The company has been an original equipment tire supplier since 2013 for the Toyota Corolla.
The latest reconfigured Corolla sedan sports a dynamic design with better agility, comfort and refinement. The model is equipped with a pre-collision safety system, the advanced standard Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 technology. For better fuel efficiency and higher power, the new model will use a new 2.0-litre Dynamic-Force engine. It is also compatible with current technology such as Remote Connect with Apple Watch, CarPlay and Amazon Alexa.
Hankook Tire’s Kinergy GT tires have also been used on the 2018 Toyota Camry. The addition of the 2020 Corolla aligns with the company’s continuous strategic global expansion plan.

They have improved stiffness and consistent grip, including comfort and noise reduction as other notable features,” said Moonhwa Hong, Vice President of the OE Development Department at Hankook Tire. “The tread block pitch sequence and vibration control technology ensure reduced noise and vibration on all driving surfaces, providing drivers with a more comfortable driving experience.”
