Point S Canada and Unimax Tire have recently announced the nomination of Craig Essex for the position of Director of Development Canada.

Essex is to take up his new responsibilities from June 17. In his new role, he will take charge of developing the Point S banner across Canada. Essex will be based in the Toronto region and will carry out all operations from the company’s office there.

In a release by the company, Point S Canada says that Essex is a strategic professional who is extremely focused on results. Having worked for several years as a manager in a globally renowned tire production company, he brings with him extensive knowledge about the tire market in Canada. According to the company, his experience has allowed him to develop strategic sales plans by territory, as well as be aware of the best commercial practices and opportunities for the owners of independent auto centers on both the consumer and commercial markets. Essex graduated from Queens University’s sales management and management programs. Additionally, he holds an interprovincial automotive repair license.
