Kumho Tire has recently announced the launch of its “premium” tire specifically designed for sport utility vehicles.

Designed for CUVs and SUVs, the newly launched Crugen HP71 is an all-season tire. In a release by the company, Kumho Tire affirms that the tire has been developed to offer a top-luxurious feel and a comfortable and quiet ride along with a level of safety, performance and longevity. To improve its wear and cold-weather/snow performance, the new tire has been equipped with new compounding and design. The tire features a new luxury-designed patterned sidewall.

Kumho Tire offers a 105,000 km treadwear limited warranty on its Crugen HP71. Displaying a symmetric pattern, the tire is currently available in 41 sizes, from 16-inch to 22-inch rim diameters in both H and V speed ratings.

The following are the special features of the Crugen HP71:

• The tire is equipped with full depth sipes and lateral voids that help in the removal of slush from under the tire and create long-lasting winter traction.
• To help with evacuate water, enhance wet weather traction, and prevent hydroplaning, the tire contains wide circumferential grooves and micro-serration in tread blocks.
