The company has redesigned its WinGuard WinSpike WH62 for passenger vehicles and the WinGuard WinSpike WS62 for CUV/SUV vehicles from the ground up. The new releases have been developed for enhanced performance on snow and ice conditions. To meet increasing market demands, Nexen offers the tires in expanded size lineups.

An optimal arrangement of stud lines allows the two new models to enhance their snow/ice performance. Improving on their predecessors’ 12 stud lines, the WH62 and WS62 now feature 20 powerful stud lines. This helps in minimizing stud noise as well as maximizing grip. Nexen has engineered the new tires to deliver better braking and handling through the application of a new square-type contact patch with the road surface. This feature, in conjunction with a new compound that promises more flexibility at lower temperatures, ensures the best snow/ice performance from the company, promises Nexen Tire.
