A new, industry-wide campaign focused on educating small-to-medium sized fleets on the advantages of retreads was revealed by Bridgestone Americas (Bridgestone).

It was introduced at the 2019 Technology & Maintenance Council (TMC) Annual Meeting & Transportation Technology Exhibition in Atlanta—home to trucking’s leading fleet professionals, vehicle manufacturers and component suppliers.

“The Fleets We Depend On” campaign spotlights the fleets most depended upon—from fire departments to first responders to school districts—that rely on retreads to get the job done. The campaign reminds all that retreads are a reliable solution for the everyday heroes and fleets in any field. Bandag, a business of Bridgestone, is dedicated to research development and manufacturing premium retreads. It recognizes that retreads play a critical role in everyday operations of these fleets and therefore is dedicated to engineering a product that delivers safe and reliable performance.
