Toyo Tires has announced the release of its all-new Toyo Open Country H/T II highway all-season tire specifically designed for pickup trucks and SUVs.

Built on the quality and reputation of its Open Country H/T, Toyo has designed this next-generation tire with new technology to help deliver better wet braking performance and handling, longer tread life, and more consistent traction performance throughout the tire’s life.

A new wear-resistant tread compound has been used in the tire to help in its improvements, extending the tire’s life and enhancing its durability. The tire contains new patented tread design features, such as adaptive circumferential grooves and expanding shoulder grooves, that are engineered to help maintain optimum wet performance throughout its wear life. Toyo has added four wide circumferential grooves and multi-wave sipes to improve the tire’s all-season performance further.

Toyo asserts that its Open Country H/T II comes with a dual sidewall design, offering innovative styling options. This feature allows owners to customize their truck or SUV according to their choice of look: classic or sporty. The tire’s classic design is similar to the Open Country H/T and will be appreciated by customers who favoured the predecessor tire. Select sizes of the classic side are also offered with raised outlined white letters. The tire’s sport side is available in high-contrast lettering and a stylized shoulder and sidewall to go with the sporty and modern trucks and SUVs of today.

Toyo backs the new tire with its Toyo Tires 500 Mile Trial Offer and also provides treadwear warranty coverage of up to 112654.08 km (70,000 miles).
