Yokohama Tire is introducing two new long-lasting fuel-efficient tires at the TMC show.

With the release of the SmartWay-verified low rolling resistance tires 712L and 114R, Yokohama intends to help fleets get more out of their tires. The tires will be on display at the company’s booth, #3109, at the show in Atlanta, Georgia, from March 18 to 21.

Yokohama will display at total of 14 tires at the show, including light-truck and off-the-road tires.

The 712L long-haul, drive tire is to be manufactured at the company’s plant in West Point, Mississippi. It will be available in April in four sizes—295/75R22.5, 11R22.5, 285/75R24.5 and 11R24.5.

“The deep-tread 712L offers advanced wear resistance, top-tier fuel-efficiency and traction, and tough, durable construction,” says Tom Clauer, Senior Manager of Commercial and OTR Product Planning, Yokohama. “It’s designed for fleets to keep their trucks rolling for a long, long time.”

Clauer adds that the 114R UWB, the successor to the RY407 UWB, will be available later in the year in size 445/50R22.5.
