Hankook Tire has announced the debut of the redesigned Dynapro AT2 all-terrain tire.
Improving upon its best-selling predecessor, Hankook Tire has engineered the new tire to develop a superior blend of all-round performance. The company will manufacture the tire in the U.S. at its flagship plant in Clarksville and at its other facilities around the globe.
In a release by the company, Hankook Tire asserts that its Dynapro AT2’s innovative multi-directional tread design ensures stronger traction in wet, winter and off-road conditions. Additionally, it also decreases road noise and increases ride comfort. The tire features a wider, advanced footprint that helps in more evenly distributed stress and uniform wear, besides contributing to a longer tread life.
The new tire will be available in more than 80 sizes, 15 more than its predecessor. Hankook Tire has incorporated new aero and tie bar technology to the tire’s shoulder structure. The tire’s block integrity and road noise reduction have been improved from the outgoing version. The tire’s two-to-one shoulder lug design helps in optimizing traction and performance off-road, catering to off-road enthusiasts.
The Dynopro AT2 also includes and offers the following:
- An optimized 95,000 km warranty which also covers road hazard
- A 30-day free trial to provide better customer satisfaction
- A UTQG rating of 660/A/B
Certain select tire sizes may are currently available through Hankook-certified dealers. The company will make the full line available soon.
