EFX Tires, an off-road tire manufacturer, has released its new performance engineered tire, MotoHavok.

The MotoHavok is specially designed to traverse deep mud-terrain. The UTV tire features a combination of deep mud traction and a smooth hard-pack ride quality to navigate all kinds of off-road conditions.

The tire’s two-inch check bag lug tread pattern provides a smooth ride and enhances its self-cleaning capabilities. This six-ply tire also contains an ultra-deep wheel lip protector. This acts as an armour for custom wheels, shielding them from debris when in motion. The tread pattern helps in providing optimum traction in both drive and bias. The carcass in the tire is bulletproof.

The MotoHavok has the following features:

  • A rim protector
  • Six-Ply Bias
  • Centre lug
  • Two-inch lug tread pattern
  • Check mark lug design with self-cleaning capabilities
  • Optimal reverse grip

The MotoHavok is currently available in the following sizes:

  • 28 x 8.5-14
  • 31 x 8.5-14
  • 32 x 8.5-16
  • 32 x 8.5-18
  • 33 x 8.5-20
  • 35 x 8.5-20
  • 35 x 8.5-22
  • 37 x 8.5-24
  • 42 x 8.5-24

Further information on the EFX Performance Tire line is available on their website.

EFX advises everyone handling its tires to follow appropriate maintenance measures. It cautions against using just any tire cleaner as they contain harsh acids, alkalis and detergents that are detrimental to the wheel and paint. As an alternative, EFX suggests using a basic dish soap that does not contain bleach to clean the wheels and EFX tires. A rough detailing brush may be used to reach the valleys between tire lugs. The tire company also warns against using tire shine or gloss as the chemicals in these products may break down tire compound faster than usual.
