Hunter Engineering showcased Quick Tread Edge, its latest drive over tread depth measuring tool, at the 2019 NADA Show from January 25 to 27.
Hunter showcased its products in Booth 4605N at the show.
The Quick Tread Edge is engineered to deliver detailed tire condition diagnosis in less time and with added edge wear detection. It offers a comprehensive analysis of overall tire condition. The technology used in the tool promises to measure tires accurately, in addition to capturing 3D images.
Service providers using the tool will be able to identify wear on the ‘edge’ of the tire enabling them to provide customers with informative, in-depth inspection results.
The Quick Tread Edge tool works well in tandem with Hunter’s touchless alignment inspection system, Quick Check Drive. Paired together, they can capture autonomous alignment and tire readings in seconds. No additional labour or stopping time is required for this.
Hunter’s online business intelligence tool HunterNet is set up to automatically display digital inspection findings through Flightboard. Since both the Quick Tread Edge and the Quick Check Drive systems are connected to it, customers will be able to see the inspection results first-hand.
The Quick Tread Edge tool is also compatible with Quick ID, Hunter’s automatic vehicle identification system.
