Kumho Tire has been chosen again as an original equipment supplier for the latest generation Mercedes Benz G-Class model.

Kumho’s Solus KL21 tire—sized at 265/60R18 110H will be factory fitted to the premium SUV at the assembly plant in Graz, Austria.

The new High Dispersible Micro Silica tread compound featured in the Solus KL21 provides maximum grip on wet and dry roads. The rolling resistance of the tire has been optimized to deliver well-balanced handling and better fuel economy.

Kumho Tire has been a tire supplier for Mercedes-Benz since 2007. The homologated version of the Solus KH15 MO tire was first introduced on the Mercedes-Benz A-Class. Kumho has been expanding its partnership with Mercedes ever since, providing tires for its vans such as the Sprinter, the Viano and the Vito, as well as for the company’s Smart mini car and trucks.
