Pop-Up Drive-Thru for Truckers

Fountain Tire brought the convenience of a drive-thru to long-haul truckers, serving free coffee and snacks right to their window at a one-of-a-kind coffee shop.

“Most roadside stops aren’t built for truck drivers to get in and out of quickly,” says Nelson Tonn, Vice President Sales, Fountain Tire. “The Truck-Thru is Fountain Tire’s way of saying we understand the challenges drivers face. We want to give back to our customers in the trucking community and meet drivers’ needs right where they are – on the road.”

“Transport and delivery vehicles have one thing in common: they need to get where they’re going on time,” continues Tonn. “Downtime can be a major concern for drivers and fleet managers, and something as simple as getting a cup of coffee can cost them time.”

From September 19 – 23 at the Box Canyon Rest Area, the pop-up Truck-Thru by Fountain Tire brought the convenience of a drive-thru to long-haul truckers.

“Fountain Tire’s partnership approach extends to commercial and fleet customers across Western Canada,” adds Tonn. “We view our customers as partners and believe we have a shared responsibility to take care of their vehicles and fleets as if they are our own.”
