Hercules Tires & Rubber Co. has begun offering road-hazard coverage on select Ironman-brand passenger and light truck tires in the U.S and Canada.

The Ironman brand’s road-hazard protection policy — provided in the purchase price on the selected tires — promises free replacement with a comparable Ironman brand tire within the first 12 months of purchase or 2/32nds-inch of treadwear, whichever comes first, and covers tires damaged as the result of common road hazards such as potholes or nails encountered during the course of normal on-road driving.

After the initial 12 months, a prorated credit is provided within two years from purchase or the first 50 percent of tread life, whichever comes first. The tires with the coverage are: * Passenger — iMOVE Gen2 AS; RB-12; RB-12 NWS; and GR 906; * SUV/Light truck — iMOVE GEN2 SUV; RB-SUV; RB-LT; Radial A/P; All Country A/T; and All Country CHT.
