The American Association for Laboratory Accreditation has recognized Hankook Tire’s Technodome as a global innovation R&D centre.

Hankook Tire’s Technodome, a state of the art R&D facility located in Daejeon, Korea has acquired the ISO/IEC 17025 certification from the American Association for Laboratory Accreditation (A2LA) in recognition of the company’s testing system.

Hankook’s Technodome houses the company’s core R&D capabilities and represents the epicentre of its efforts to acquire and create global top-tier innovative technology through its high-tech research facilities and optimized working environment. The Technodome represents the mecca of cutting-edge technology and is a key factor in the development of leading high-tech tire technology as part of the company’s mid to long-term R&D strategy.

The ISO/IEC 17025 certification is an international standard for laboratories or accreditation organizations that have been recognized by the International Standard Organization. The test reports from these laboratories are globally acknowledged.
