Pirelli has unveiled its new Scorpion All Terrain Plus tire. The new tire is designed for both on and off road for pick-up trucks and SUVs.
“The new Scorpion All Terrain Plus reflects Pirelli’s continued commitment to offering tires developed specifically for the North American Market,” said Ian Coke, chief technical officer for Pirelli Tire North America. “This tire combines our advanced compound and design technology with an aggressive appearance to provide light truck and SUV owners with a durable, high performing driving experience through a wide range of challenging on or off-road conditions.”
The tire replaces the previous Pirelli Scorpion ATR with its all new tread pattern that increases durability, traction and wear resistance.
Key features of the new Scorpion All Terrain Plus tire include:

- Balanced performance for on and off-road conditions
- Advanced tread compound optimized for durability, traction, and wear
- High resistance to cutting and chipping
- Excellent mud and snow traction and three-peak snowflake
- Deep tread grooves with conical stone ejectors
- 50,000-mile warranty
The new Scorpion All Terrain Plus tire will be available in various 16 inch, 17 inch, 18 inch and 20 inch sizes, with deliveries in the first half of 2018. Examples of planned fitments include the Chevy Silverado, GMC Sierra, Ford F-150, Toyota Tacoma and Dodge RAM 1500.
The new Scorpion All Terrain Plus tire is developed specifically for the North American replacement market, adding to the other “Plus” product lines in the Pirelli family: the Scorpion Zero All Season Plus, the Scorpion Verde All Season Plus, the P Zero All Season Plus, and Cinturato P7 All Season Plus.
