Through its Outstanding Trails program, which promotes sustainable and responsible off-road driving, BFGoodrich will once again be awarding individuals $4,000 grants to four North American off-roading clubs. These clubs will use their grants to pursue their preservation efforts while developing and protecting their local trails.
For the 12th consecutive year, BFGoodrich has been offering the Outstanding Trails grant, this year it is in conjunction with partner sponsor 4 Wheel Parts , who will promote the program to all-wheel-drive clubs across North America.
To date, the Outstanding Trails program has awarded grants to 44 off-road trails nominated by 41 local organizations throughout North America. The program has donated over $160,000 in grants to support conservation efforts to preserve these trails.
Nominations will be accepted from April 17 through July 31, 2017, on the BFGoodrich Tires Garage website: http://garage.bfgoodrichtires.com. The competition invites all North American off-road clubs to nominate local trails that they believe are worthy of their maintenance and restoration efforts. Trails are selected based on uniqueness, terrain type and enthusiasm generated.
BFGoodrich has assembled an esteemed panel of judges, all-wheel industry veterans, to evaluate the Outstanding Trails grant submissions. This group will select the winning entries, which will be announced at the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) in November in Las Vegas.
