New concept focuses on longer intervals between tire changes, reduced fuel use, and exceptional performance & uniformity to reduce driver stress.

Falken Tires has announced that they will be introducing the Low Maintenance Concept (LMC) at the Mid America Trucking Show in Louisville, Kentucky.

The LMC highlights development and production techniques to improve performance in four key areas: mileage, even wear, durability, and low rolling resistance. By concentrating on these four key areas, Falken Tires medium truck radials can help reduce overall operating costs.

“To explain at the simplest level, our low maintenance tires help minimize downtime and keep trucks on the road longer with minimal hassle,” said Raul Garcia, Commercial Tire Product Planning.

In addition, Falken will also highlight their four newest commercial truck products—the RI130 ECORUN (Line Haul Steer application), the RI150 ECORUN (Regional All Position application), the BI830 ECORUN (Line Haul Drive application), and the BI850 (Regional Drive, Open Shoulder application) medium truck radial tires.
