Huf North America Automotive will be launching a new solution for servicing TPMS during the SEMA show this year.
With the Huf Intellisens App and HC1000 (a wireless adapter) technicians can use either a smartphone (IOS or Android) or a tablet to diagnose vehicles and program the Huf Intellisens universal sensors.
As a cloud based solution, all vehicle data is always updated instantaneously, which eliminates manual software updates by the user. Relearn procedures and troubleshooting are also available without the need to go to another source.
“This solution allows the technician to have everything that is required to service TPMS,” said John Stratton, aftermarket director for Huf North America Automotive Parts Manufacturing, Corp. “As the use of smartphones and tablets are becoming more popular for technicians in their work environment, we wanted to offer them a solution to simplify the entire TPMS process from a device that is used every day.”
