Hankook Tire opens a New R&D centre to “Lead the Future.” 

The Hankook Technodome, the company’s new R&D centre in Daejeon, Korea has been positioned as a core instrument in the company’s global R&D infrastructure.

Within this high-tech facility, which boasts an optimized research environment, Hankook Tire plans to focus on securing original technology for the future of the brand’s mid to long term R&D plans, and to lead the latest tire technology and world class quality.

The R&D six-storey research building is attached to an eight-storey residence building equipped with employee accommodations including a fitness centre, medical clinics, a café, and a daycare. 

The R&D facilities include a Driving Simulation system as well as a “Suspension Parameter Measuring Machine” to carry out virtual tests and record digital results.
