The Las Vegas AAPEX show could never be a complete success without the iconic Canada Night event, organized by AIA Canada.
On November 5th, AIA Canada continued the tradition, as it hosted a revised format of the iconic evening, which attracted over 800 Canadian automotive aftermarket stakeholders to the colossal Hotel Paris Las Vegas Concorde Ballroom. The format of the event was modified, including the new location and increased visibility of those sponsoring the event. A gigantic screen, similar to those at Leafs and Habs games, featured prominently in the centre of the ballroom, displaying both sponsor logos and video presentations of the various AIA support services.
“Our objective was to refresh the format,” explained AIA Canada President, Jean-François Champagne. “A more spacious setting, increased visibility for our partners, while making sure to maintain a stress-free environment for Canadian automotive aftermarket to network and relax.”
Mission accomplished. The décor was on point, the food did not disappoint, and the absence of background music created an ideal networking environment. Several groups formed spontaneously, which led to thoughtful, intelligent discussions. The event provided a welcome break from the high-intensity, fast-paced AAPEX setting.
