Bosch has announced the addition of new parts to its product lines in July and August for select vehicle year, make and model years of BMW, Cadillac, Ford, Kia, Subaru and Volkswagen, among others.

Expanding its coverage to over 30 million vehicles in operation (VIO) in North America, Bosch has released new braking, oxygen sensor and particulate matter sensor part numbers.

Brake Pads

Offering coverage for 1.5 million late-model domestic, Asian and European VIO in Canada and the U.S., Bosch has added nine new brake pad sets to its Bosch QuietCast Brake Pad product line. Applications for the new products include the 2016-2018 Honda HR-V, 2017-2019 Subaru Impreza and 2013-2017 Fiat 500, among others. Bosch is offering synthetic lubricant with all applications of the new products, as well as a hardware kit for select applications. Bosch’s QuietCast Brake Pads product line is designed to suit the needs of a generalist technician working on all makes and models.

Additionally, the company has expanded its Bosch Blue Disc Brake Pad product line by adding eight new brake pad sets. The new numbers have increased coverage to include 961,000 VIO. Applications for the new parts include several vehicles such as the 2018-2019 Subaru Crosstrek, 2016-2018 Chevrolet Spark and 2017 Hyundai Elantra GT. For better noise dampening, the brake pads are equipped with multi-layer shims. Additional protection on select applications is provided by towel-wrapping them. According to Bosch, its Blue Disc Brake Pads product line is designed to cater to the needs of the daily driver and offer quality, performance and value.

Oxygen Sensors

Bosch has released 40 new oxygen sensors to provide additional coverage to 29.2 million domestic, Asian and European VIO in North America. Most of the new products provide coverage for late model applications through the 2019 model year, including the Cadillac Escalade and Escalade ESV, Chevrolet Colorado, GMG Sierra 1500 Limited, Yukon, and more. The packaging for Bosch’s complete line of oxygen sensors has been redesigned and now sports an updated logo, graphics, features and benefits.

Engine Management

Expanding coverage to include 50,000 VIO in the U.S., Bosch has also added 11 new part numbers to its Particulate Matter Sensor product line. Applications such as 2014-2016 Audi Q5 3.0 TDI Quattro, 2018 Range Rover Velar 2.0 D180 AWD and 2015 Mercedes-Benz ML 350 BlueTec 4MATIC are included in the new coverage.
